Perfecto Mundo Pink Carpet™

General Care

Soil: Cool, moist, acidic soils with high amounts of organic matter.

Pruning: Prune or trim after spring bloom to encourage new growth and more abundant rebloom.

Uses: Mass plantings; edging; low hedge; foundation planting; specimen.

Growing Tips: At its best when sited in filtered sun all day. Hardy to USDA zone 6b with protection; has survived winters in zone 6a but with significant damage. Benefits from mulch.

Perfecto Mundo Epic Coral™ & Pink™

General Care

Meet the Breeder

Tom Ranney is a professor with the Department of Horticultural Science at NC State University. He is a plant breeder who has helped to produce 50 new cultivars of landscape plants. Tom has also been awarded the Scott Medal, been named Outstanding Graduate Educator, Fellow, and Outstanding Researcher by the American Society for Horticultural Science, and has won the H. Marc Cathey Award and Luther Burbank Award from the American Horticultural Society.
